SHIPPING POLICY

There are 2 types of shipping ESPECTACULAR, SOCIEDADE UNIPESSOAL, LDA (“ESPECTACULAR”) works with, which are:

  1. IN-HOME DELIVERY;
  2. PRODUCT PICK-UP AT ESPECTACULAR FACILITIES.

 

  1. IN-HOME DELIVERY

ESPECTACULAR uses independent service providers (“Delivery Company”) to perform in-home deliveries, only and exclusively in city of Maputo. By selecting the In-Home Delivery option at check-out, you agree to have your purchase and delivery information, including your address and contact information, transmitted to the Delivery Company.

 

  • Time for delivery

Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the area in case. The time to process your order takes in count: packaging and transit time to the delivery address.

When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the estimated delivery date:

  • Order Processing: The amount of time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping. This typically takes 1 – 2 days working days, however some orders may ship within as few as hours and some may take up to 5 working days. In extenuating circumstances, orders may take even longer.
  • Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our facility and arrive at your address.

When your order is ready, we´ll call you to schedule a delivery date, we will attempt to contact you at the telephone number that you provided in your order. At that time, we will let you know what days of the week we are able to deliver to your area. Deliveries will be made between the hours of 8am and 4pm on the delivery day you select.

 

  • Preparations for your delivery

Effective as of July 01, 2020 and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our In-Home Delivery is temporarily changed to implement health precautions. We will make the delivery and assembly the products in your house, using all the needed protections do avoid the virus spreading. If you wish to not allow us in, we can delivery at your doorstep or any safe place.

 

  • Delivery Signing

Either you or your representative, that is 18 years of age or older, must be present to receive the merchandise at the agreed upon day and time window, and watch all the assembly process. If no one is available to receive the delivery, a re-delivery fee may be applied to your order. This agreement is with you and ESPECTACULAR. Neither ESPECTACULAR nor the Delivery Company will be held responsible if you decide to hire a third-party contractor to accept and receive the items without the notations of visible defects of packaging, damaged items, or missing merchandise.

 

  • Client responsible upon delivery

Examine your order upon delivery to ensure that there are no visible signs of damaged, missing or incorrect pieces. If there are missing, damaged or incorrect packages, please retain the item(s), indicate the problem and contact us within 48 hours of your delivery. For any other problem with your order, please refer to our Return Policy.

 

  • Additional fees may apply

Deliveries that are scheduled for delivery more than fourteen days from the date of purchase will require an additional storage fee of up to $10 per day. There may be other circumstances that require additional payment by you if the conditions mentioned about have not been met or you require special services outside of our standard In-Home Delivery process.

 

  • Changes to the delivery address after placing order

You are not able to make changes to the delivery address once your online order is placed. Orders placed online or over the phone begin processing immediately in our system to ensure order fulfilment and shipping time.

 

  1. PRODUCT PICK-UP AT ESPECTACULAR FACILITIES

To use Product Pick-Up, add products to your shopping list and then select to pick-up at our facility. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up. Your order must be picked up no later than 6:00 p.m. local time, unless otherwise notified. For your safety and the safety of our co-workers, please do not come to the store to pick up your order until you have received notification that your order is ready.

It is important that you pick up your purchase on the selected pick-up date. If you do not pick up your order within this period, additional fees will apply.

ESPECTACULAR reserves the right to change these Shipping Policies without prior notice. The User is bound to the version of the Shipping Policies at the time of use, so we recommend your periodic consultation.
